Korea made a biodegradable constructor for children

The dyes are also made from natural products and are compostable. According to designer Subin Cho, the Rice Husk Village constructor is long-lasting and can be used to play by more than one generation of children.

Rice husks are used in construction and as fertiliser, but most, about 120 million tonnes, are sent to landfill each year. Rice Husk Village cubes are made up of rice husks, starch and water. From them you can build a tower and even a village. The set includes trees, a bridge and steps.
