APRO at the «Digital Powering of the Region. Kirov Oblast»: how technologies are changing the MSW industry

On 17 April, the Engineering Centre of Vyatka State University hosted a strategic session entitled «Digital powering of the region», dedicated to the digital transformation of the urban environment, housing and utilities, and the application of neural networks in public administration. The event was organised by the Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation «Digital Economy» together with the Government of the Kirov Region and with the support of the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation.

The meeting gathered representatives of federal and regional authorities, leading Russian IT companies, development institutes, industry experts and employees of management companies. The focus was on the implementation of digital solutions in the daily activities of government and infrastructure organisations.

The event was opened by Dmitry Kurdyumov, First Deputy Chairman of the Kirov Region Government, who underlined the importance of digital maturity for improving the efficiency of state and municipal administration: «Achieving digital maturity is impossible without the introduction and effective use of technologies. The level of digitalisation of the housing and utilities sector directly depends on the involvement of citizens in the use of digital services. “Digital Powering” is an opportunity to learn how to use AI in practical activities».

The A.PRO LLC team took an active part in the work of the strategic session, during which the issues of increasing the use of GIS in housing and communal services, involving citizens in digital services (including through the «Gosuslugi Home» application), developing digital infrastructure in waste management and applying AI in public administration and housing and communal services were discussed.

Sergey Kulikov, Senior Analyst, presented his report «APRO Digital Platform: a Solution for Modern Solid Waste Management», presenting practical experience and digital solutions for solid waste management. In his speech he presented the capabilities of the APRO platform, an ecosystem solution for the automation of processes in the field of solid waste management. Cases of implementation of the platform in the regions were presented, scenarios of integration with government information systems were shown, and the benefits of using data in management were outlined.

«Digital transformation is impossible without platforms that unite industry participants on a digital basis. APRO is just such a solution. We offer not only a tool, but a basis for systematic work in the field of TCO at the regional level», said Sergey Kulikov.
