B3-MED has implemented PharmFrame in clinics in the Moscow region

The B3-MED team has integrated PharmFrame into state medical organizations in the Moscow region. The system works as an intelligent assistant, helping 15,000 doctors in the Moscow region to issue prescriptions.

"The introduction of such systems is a step towards the medicine of the future, where technology serves not as a replacement but as a supplement to the knowledge and experience of doctors. It is important that the module is exclusively an assistant to doctors; the decision to prescribe a drug remains with the specialist. We strive to ensure maximum safety and effectiveness of treatment for every resident of the Moscow region," said Maxim Zabelin, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government and Minister of Health of the Moscow Region.

When a prescription for a drug is created, PharmFrame automatically checks the prescription against 15 key parameters:

  • Risks of interaction between prescribed medications.
  • Risks of interaction between prescribed medications and food.
  • Risks of interaction between prescribed medications and alcohol.
  • Risks of allergic reactions.
  • Risks of repeated therapy due to polypharmacy.
  • Risks associated with the patient's age.
  • Risks associated with the patient's gender.
  • Risks of using medications while breastfeeding.
  • Risks of using drugs during pregnancy.
  • Risks of using drugs with concomitant diseases.
  • Risks of using drugs while driving.
  • Risks of prescribing drugs in excess.
  • Risks of prescribing drugs without proven efficacy.
  • Risks of prescribing drugs that are not included in Russian clinical guidelines.
  • Risk of exceeding the duration of drug use recommended in Russian clinical guidelines and/or drug instructions.

The module works both during in-person appointments and during telemedicine consultations when a patient needs to renew or adjust a prescription for a subsidized drug.
