The Big Three Took Part in the Dokuchaev Conference

On 6 November 2025, the III All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference on the Rehabilitation of the Natural Ecosystems of Donbas and Novorossiya, the «Dokuchaev Conference» was held in Moscow with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation. The event brought together more than 500 representatives of government bodies, the scientific community, state corporations, and environmental organizations.

The Big Three took an active part in the forum’s work. The company’s Technical Director, Mikhail Favorsky, joined the expert panel of the section «Elimination of Accumulated Environmental Damage. Waste Management». During the discussion, he emphasized the importance of correctly identifying sites of accumulated environmental damage, implementing modern monitoring systems, and improving the efficiency of regional structures’ interaction in the field of waste management.

The participants of the session discussed the large-scale environmental consequences of industrial pressure and the prolonged absence of systematic oversight in the territories of the new regions. Special attention was given to issues of infrastructure modernization, the development of digital waste-management tools, and preparing the regions for the transition to updated federal standards.

Based on the results of the discussions, a unified expert position was formed on the need for a long-term and comprehensive approach to restoring the territories. Industry representatives emphasized that further work requires interagency coordination, updates to the regulatory framework, and the extension of current environmental and humanitarian support programs.

The Big Three will continue to participate in industry-specific discussions and to implement technologies aimed at improving the quality of environmental management in the new regions.
