22 October 2024

The II All-Russian Children’s Environmental Forum took place in Chelyabinsk, with teams from all 89 regions of the Russian Federation participating. For two years, the forum has become a favorite event for thousands of schoolchildren and their mentors, who discuss current environmental problems and propose solutions.
The Forum was held in two stages: first in the online format, then in the face-to-face format, which took place on October 15-16. In the finals, teams from 51 regions met, competing for first place in eighteen nominations, including the national one.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent an address to the forum participants, which was read out by Alexei Teksler, Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region. He noted that the forum united schoolchildren dreaming of environmental activities and involvement in environmental programs.
The first day of the forum included thematic sessions and project defense, where participants presented about 200 reports at a scientific and practical conference. The second day started with a solemn Opening Ceremony with a parade of flags, where each team presented its region.
Big Three took an active part in the forum: we acted as a digital partner of the event, and our CEO answered questions from participants in the plenary session along with Maxim Korolkov - Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Kobylkin - Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, Svetlana Radionova - Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, and A. Kobylkin - Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
The Forum has become a unique platform for the exchange of experience in environmental projects and the formation of a personnel system for the environmental industry. But most importantly, the Forum became a place of fun: children sang, danced and were fully immersed in the atmosphere of the holiday!
The main goals of the EEF are to popularize environmental culture, foster a careful attitude to nature and develop environmental patriotism among young people.
