Skolkovo residents will help build the digital future of Russian cities

Skolkovo residents will contribute to shaping the digital future of Russian cities. On September 18, 2024 in Moscow, at the forum ‘Cloud Cities. Forum on the Future of BRICS Cities’, an agreement was signed between the Skolkovo Foundation and ANO Smart City Competence Center. This document is aimed at the development and expansion of digital solutions for urban management within the framework of the Smart City departmental project of the Russian Ministry of Construction.

There are already successful examples among Skolkovo residents. The Big Three project has become a benchmark for smart cities. It was recognized at the All-Russian Contest of Municipal Practices and the Smart City Award. The aim of the agreement is to expand the number of such successful solutions by supporting pilot projects to assess their effectiveness.

It is planned to hold a series of events in the Smart City direction, launch pilot projects and support the commercialization of the best solutions. This agreement will open up opportunities for the introduction of digital technologies in 2,320 municipalities across Russia.
