Became a participant of the session ‘Man in the Focus of Ecological Civilization’ at the International Symposium ‘Creating the Future’
The international science fiction symposium ‘Creating the Future’ was held in Moscow. The event took place on November 4-6, 2024 at the National Center ‘Russia’ with the participation of leading experts from science, business and government agencies

On November 6, 2024, as part of the Creating the Future symposium, the Big Three took part in the session ‘Man in the Focus of Ecological Civilization’.
The session was organized by the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization ‘Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects’ and was attended by experts from various fields: science, education, business, public sector and environmental organizations. The session discussed global challenges and opportunities for shaping a sustainable future focused on environmental and social responsibility.
The theme of the symposium touched upon key issues such as the impact of modern technologies on human evolution, the need for harmonious interaction with the environment and the preservation of cultural and historical heritage in the face of technological progress. Also discussed were ways of building new skills and competencies in people who will be able to effectively cope with environmental challenges and contribute to the creation of a balanced society.
Among the participants of the event were: Stepan Kalmykov, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Sergey Ivanov, Executive Director and member of the Board of Directors of EFCO Group; Tatiana Lipskaya, Senior Vice President for ESG at Sberbank; Alexey Fedoseev, President of the Association of Participants of Technological Circles; Howard Hendricks, Executive Director of the South African National Parks Conservation Service; Vera Kuzubov, President of the Green Kis Foundation; and others.
One of the key topics of the session was the importance of environmental culture and actions to be taken today to prevent environmental and climate disasters in the future. The session participants shared their views on how the integration of modern technologies into social and environmental processes can contribute to the creation of a harmonious and sustainable society.
The session was moderated by Ivan Karpushkin, Director of the Future Laboratory of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization ‘Agency for Strategic Initiatives’. In the course of an open dialog with the audience, the symposium participants discussed the challenges facing humanity and possible ways to solve them through cooperation between science, business and society.
The symposium ‘Man in the Focus of Ecological Civilization’ became an important milestone in environmental and technological dialogue, emphasizing the need for joint efforts to create a sustainable and harmonious ecosystem of the future.
