Launching a pilot project together with the government of the Samara region

B3-Med held a number of meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Samara region, which resulted in agreements on pilot testing of the system for controlling the effectiveness and safety of medical prescriptions.

This is a unique program-algorithmic solution developed based on the principles of evidence-based medicine. It combines the functionality of health system administrators for budget optimization and clinical modules to improve the quality of the health system’, - commented Mikael Ibragimov, CEO of B3-Med LLC.

The expected effects of our system are quite large-scale:

• support of doctor’s decision making when prescribing treatment to patients taking into account clinical recommendations;
• reduction of risks associated with the prescription of medicines due to automatic analysis of their interaction and contraindications;
• Optimization of drug procurement costs;
• improving the quality and safety of medical care by selecting analogs of drugs with a higher coefficient of proven efficacy;
• automation of the decision-making process regarding the nomenclature and volume of purchased medicines;
• increasing the efficiency of clinical pharmacologists' work through the use of new technology and automation of ABC-VEN analysis.

‘The implementation of the system will help to improve the level and quality of medical care for the residents of the Samara region,’ emphasized Armen Benyan, Acting Minister of Health of the Samara region.
