Layout Designer (Middle+)

We are developing information systems in a very relevant and important field at the moment - ecology. We are always ready to welcome talented developers to our team, including layout designer.

From the candidate we expect an understanding of aesthetics, a desire to do beautifully and real practical experience - projects, that can be seen.

The systems we develop do not require highly artistic design delights. However, an important component of a good result is the usability and aesthetic comfort of the user interfaces.

Create new things, refine existing ones.
Figuring out other people's code.
Design on and off layout, make suggestions to improve aesthetics - make the interface user-friendly.
Independently and collegially update your knowledge of user interface design.
Harmonise speed and quality of work.
Topics the candidate should be familiar with.
HTML, CSS, basis JS/TS.
UX, common standards and patterns.
Preprocessors: SaSS (mainly), Compass, Less, Pug (Jade), Haml.
Layout: adaptive, cross-browser, valid, semantic.
Mobile-friendly layout (display area size, touch interface).
E-mail newsletters layout.
BEM: advantages, naming, class structure.
NPM, GIT, console operation - the basics.
