The Big Three at the meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation Commission «Agriculture»

The meeting participants were welcomed by Viktor Tomenko, Governor of the Altai Territory, who heads the work of the State Council's Commission «Agriculture» and by Igor Levitin, Assistant of the President of the Russian Federation, via videoconference.

Within the meeting participants discussed the results of sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex in the Russian Federation during 2019-2024, methonds to increase the level of development of market infrastructure, as well as, technological modernisation of the industry and digitalisation.

Technological and resource sovereignty of the agro-industrial complex is a priority for the country. The digital transformation of agriculture involves the integration of digital technologies into all areas of agriculture and the transition from mechanical operations to digital processes in order to improve the efficiency of the country's agro-industrial complex.
