Big Three - partner of the PRO Education 2024 contest from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation

Acceptance of applications for the All-Russian Educational Journalism Contest ‘PRO Education - 2024’ has been extended until October 27. This year, the contest is being held for the 22nd time and opens its doors to professional journalists and individual authors who can submit their work in 17 nominations.

The Big Three have been invited to act as jury experts in the ‘Education in Digital’ nomination, which has been announced for the first time this year. We would like to thank the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for its trust and appreciation of our professional experience and expertise.

Journalists from Russian media outlets of various formats, including television, radio, print media, online resources and specialized IT media, can expect to win in the Education in Digital category. The terms of participation imply that their materials should relate to the use of information technologies in education and have the largest number of references in the media.

‘The nomination “Education in Digital” is designed for representatives of any media, which in their publications, projects and programs told about the use of digital technologies in education. Applications for the contest are still being accepted,’ said Svetlana Kutukova, Acting Director General of the Center for Educational Initiatives of the Russian Ministry of Education.

The contest is organized to encourage professionals who actively cover and promote educational topics. Representatives of both regional and federal media, employees of educational institutions, independent journalists and bloggers can participate.

The criteria for evaluating journalistic works include social significance, reliability, depth of coverage of professional education topics and expressiveness of information presentation. The winners of the PRO Education 2024 contest will be announced in December at a ceremony in Moscow. The PRO Obrazovanie contest is a platform for open dialogue between the Russian Ministry of Education and journalists, as well as a tool to recognize achievements in the field of covering the life of Russian schools. Last year the contest received a record number of applications - 3,045 from participants from 89 regions of the country.

The founder and organizer of the contest is the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and the federal operator is the Center for Educational Initiatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
