Joining Forces: «Big Three» and the Analytical Centre of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources create an online platform for volunteer initiatives

On 27 May 2025, the Rossiya Segodnya International Multimedia Press Centre in Moscow hosted a press conference timed to coincide with the start of the cleaning season of the «Water of Russia» nationwide campaign to clean up the shores of water sites from rubbish. The business meeting was concluded with the signing ceremony of an agreement on informational interaction between the «Analytical Centre of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia» and the IT-company «Big Troika».

The agreement is aimed at creating a convenient and efficient digital platform RE: BIN («Ryabina»), which is designed not only to facilitate the participation of volunteers in environmental actions, but also to stimulate their initiatives in organising their own events. This is an important step towards the formation of an active community capable of responding quickly and efficiently to environmental safety challenges.

The «Analytical Centre of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia», acting as coordinator of the «Water of Russia» campaign, will recommend the use of the RE: BIN service among the participants. In return, LLC «Big Troika» will provide technical support and development of the platform to make it as convenient and functional as possible for volunteers across the country.

The signing of the agreement is not just a formality, but a real joining of forces to support and develop environmental volunteering in Russia. Tools are being created that inspire people to act, organise and make a better world around them.

This is the beginning of a new stage in the history of «Water of Russia» and the volunteer movement as a entire — modern, open and truly effective.
