A.PRO recognized as the best digital company and IT product at the Green Award 2024

On December 10, 2024, as part of the Green Award 2024 ceremony organized by the Russian Environmental Operator (REO), the outstanding success of the joint project of PPK REO and Big Troika - the automated information system ‘APRO’ - was noted. The project received a special prize in the nomination ‘For the best digital solution in the TCO industry’.

AIS ‘APRO’ is recognized as one of the key innovations in solid municipal waste management, which allows to optimize processes and improve the efficiency of waste management at the national level. The award was accepted on stage by Maria Chakhnina, General Director of A.PRO LLC.

The Green Award, now in its third year, has become a platform for showcasing cutting-edge initiatives in waste management and the circular economy. In 2024, a record number of over 13,500 entries were submitted to the competition, demonstrating the growing public interest in the environmental agenda.

‘The Green Award has become an important event for everyone working in the environmental field. It is not only an opportunity to receive well-deserved recognition, but also motivation for further achievements,’ said Denis Butsayev, CEO of REO.

This year’s jury members were such respected experts as Sofia Malyavina, CEO of ANO National Priorities, Nikolay Valuyev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure Development, Dmitry Kobylkin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, Nina Ostanina, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Fatherhood, Motherhood and Childhood, and other industry professionals.

The APRO project, developed by PPK REO in cooperation with Big Three, was one of the main stars of the ceremony, demonstrating how the synergy of public and private initiatives can lead to the creation of innovative solutions to improve the environmental situation in the country.
